Here one minute…

This pine cone illustrates both the beauty of nature and its fragility. I grew up in a place where pine scent was nature’s perfume. Year round, the world remained green because conifers–pines, spruce–were everywhere. Pinecones are among my fondest memories. Sadly, now if we don’t take care of them and the rest of nature, they can’t take care of us and will disappear…and then, we become nothing.
