(For this season, I want to share a special gift with anyone reading this. It is a story of the amazing first Christmas my children and I spent together as a single parent family 30-some years ago. It was a lean year as I worked at the first job I could get and scrimped to save pennies while trying to give my children the kind of life a two-parent family could give them. The miracles of that first Christmas follow.
